Roots Community Health Centre provides person-centred, culturally-safe care to vulnerable newcomers.
We take the time to listen to newcomers full situation, then we help then navigate our complex medical system.
But our care does not stop there.
We know wellness extends beyond traditional medical practice to addressing other aspect of their lives such as housing, employment, food security, and language proficiency.
Roots CHC engages with community resources, especially those agencies supporting immigrants and refugees. Our collaborative approach enables us serve newcomers more effectively and provide appropriate referrals.
